Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove the ignition distributor.
3. Uncover a head of cylinders and a gear belt.
4. Remove yokes with rollers.
5. Remove a cam-shaft and check its state.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. At assembly grease cam-shaft necks.
3. Tighten bolts of covers with m 20 N.' moment.
DIESEL
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Uncover heads of cylinders and the top cover of a belt.
3. Expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT.
4. Remove yokes with rollers (subsection 3.4.13).
5. Remove a cam-shaft and check its state and an axial side play.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. At assembly grease cam-shaft necks.
3. Tighten bolts of covers with m 20 N.' moment.
4. Replace a cam-shaft epiploon, having pressed a mandrel.
5. Tighten a cam-shaft asterisk bolt with m 70 N.' moment.
6. Establish a belt and adjust a tension by the technique described above.
ENGINES OF 2,6 L
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove the ignition distributor.
3. Uncover a head of cylinders.
4. Remove yokes with rollers.
5. Remove a cam-shaft asterisk with a chain, fix a chain by a wire on an asterisk and establish on the lower racks.
6. Turn off bolts and uncover a back basic neck.
7. Remove a cam-shaft and check its state.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. At assembly grease cam-shaft necks.
3. Before installation grease an external surface of a back epiploon.
4. Tighten bolts of covers with m 20 N.' moment.
5. Establish a semicircular cap on sealant 3M 8001.
ENGINES OF 3,0 L
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Take off a gear belt.
3. Remove asterisks of cam-shafts.
4. Remove racks and arms of the fan and generator.
5. Uncover a head of cylinders and laying.
6. Remove both epiploons of a cam-shaft.
7. Remove transitional section of the distributor of ignition and a ring.
8. Having wrung out pushers MD998443-01 adaptation, remove yokes with rollers (see subsection 3.4.13).
9. Remove a cam-shaft and check its state.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. At assembly grease cam-shaft necks.
3. Before installation grease an external surface of a back epiploon.
4. Tighten bolts and nuts with the specified moments.
5. At installation orient rollers and yokes on shooters.
6. At a press fitting of a back epiploon enclose a washer 1,3-1,5 mm thick under a mandrel.
7. Grease a cover of a head of cylinders with sealant 3M ATD 8660 in the specified places.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an inlet collector.
2. Take off a gear belt.
3. Uncover gas distribution, the coil of ignition and high-voltage wires.
4. Remove 4 asterisks of cam-shafts, holding a shaft a key for lysk (not for an asterisk!).
5. Uncover basic necks as it should be a lobby – back-N2-N-N3.
6. Remove cam-shafts.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. At assembly establish cam-shafts on a tag on a 6-faced neck, and place pins according to the provided scheme.
3. Orient covers of necks on tags and place according to numbers.
4. 2, 3, 4 establish covers so that tags on them coincided with tags on a head of cylinders. Tighten bolts in 2–3 stages.
5. Replace all laying and a sealant.
6. Grease a cover of a head of cylinders with sealant 3M ATD 8660 in the specified places.
