Hydropushers are made with high precision, hit of dust and dirt on them is not allowed.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wring out a valve spring.
2. Remove a yoke.
3. Get a hydropusher.
4. Replace a pusher and establish details upside-down.
Check without removal from the car
The checked pushers in VMT on 4-cylinder engines and the diesel
Light shooters – pushers of the 1st cylinder.
Dark shooters – pushers of the 4th cylinder.

Check of rocking of a yoke on a hydropusher (except engines of 3,5 l)
At ringing knocks of pushers after launch of the engine, or at the steady knocks accompanying operation of the engine execute the following.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the level of oil and its state, if necessary replace oil. It is connected with the fact that knocks can be caused by the air which got to canals of pushers because of strong violation of level of oil, or its foaming.
2. Air can be removed from pushers repeated slow (during 30 sec.) with increase in turns to 3000 rpm (knocks gradually have to disappear).
Avoid long parking of the car with the idle engine, or parkings on slopes.
3. If it is not possible to remove air in the specified way, then execute the following (on all engines):
– expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT;
– press the yokes specified by a light arrow, having chosen a side play between a valve end face;
– turn the crankshaft on 360 ° and press the yokes specified by a dark arrow, having chosen a side play between a valve end face;
– press yokes in the place directly over a pusher. If in a pusher the side play is felt, then replace a pusher, having removed from it air, and repeat check. The side play when rocking a yoke should not be felt.
In the absence of a side play in pushers the knock is caused by other reason.
Removal of air
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Ship a pusher in pure diesel fuel.
2. Press a wire of 4-5 times a ball, having removed air.
3. Press a plunger. If the big resistance, then a pusher in the normal state is felt, otherwise repeat pumping. If air does not manage to be removed, then replace a pusher. Upon termination of you store a pusher in working situation.
4. Check tightness of a hydropusher on the MD998440 device. For this purpose measure time demanded for the plunger course on 1 mm, beginning from its shift on 0,2–0,5 mm.
This time has to be 4–20 pages. Otherwise replace a hydropusher.
