Removal and installation

Prevention The part of works is performed under the car.

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove the selector handle.

3. Remove the central section and the index of position of the selector.

4. Disconnect the socket of a control lamp and the switch.

5. Disconnect draft from the lever, having turned off a nut, working under the car.

6. Unscrew screws and remove an arm.

7. Assembly is carried out upside-down taking into account the following.

8. Grease the rubbing parts of the lever and draft with SAE J310A or NLGI N3 lubricant.

9. Adjust position of the blocking switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).

10. If draft was removed from the lever, then install the selector in neutral situation, then move draft, having established transmission in neutral situation (block wheels).

11. Make sure that the starter joins only in provisions P and N and in operation of a signal of a backing in situation R.

12. Adjust the clown of the selector. For this purpose rotating the clown. establish distance between end faces of the selector and the clown of 11,3-12,7 mm.

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Displace a cover down and disconnect the socket of the switch of the highest transfer (overdrive) on the handle.

3. Unscrew screws and remove the handle, disconnect the top socket of the switch, remove a cover.

4. Remove the index of position of the selector, having unscrewed screws of a cover and having disconnected sockets of the blocking switch and a control lamp.

5. Remove an arm with the mechanism of management.

6. For this purpose, working from below, turn off nuts, disconnect draft In from the lever, cross draft from draft In, remove washers and a guard.

7. Remove a cover, remove a lock ring, springs, plugs and a sealant of cross draft.

8. Turn off bolts of arms on the transfer case, a rasshplintuyta and disconnect cross draft from drafts And yes In, remove plugs and washers.

9. Remove a shaft of cross draft.

10. Rasshplintuyte also disconnect draft And, remove plugs and a washer.

11. Replace forelocks of connections of drafts (1 – draft And, 2 – a shaft of cross draft).

12. Assembly is carried out upside-down taking into account the following.

13. Grease the specified places with SAE J310A or NLGI N3 lubricant.

14. Replace all specified details.

15. In establish draft having transferred the selector and transmission to neutral situation.

16. Be convinced of correctness of installation of plugs and washers of draft In (1 – the lever, 2 – draft In).

17. Delay all connections according to the required moments.

18. Check operation of the mechanism of management of transmission and inclusion of the highest transfer when pressing the button on the handle.

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Disconnect all cables from the selector.

3. Turn off bolts and remove the selector assembled.

4. Turn off bolts and remove a guard of the transfer case.

5. Turn off a nut of fastening of the top lever to an arm on transmission.

6. Rasshplintuyte also disconnect a cable from the lever.

7. Turn off nuts and bolts of fastening of arms (6–8 pieces) and remove arms of a cable and a tip of a cable.

8. Remove a cable.

9. Assembly is carried out upside-down taking into account the following.

10. Grease the rubbing places (axes).

11. Delay all connections with the moments specified illustrations.

12. Adjust cables in the following order.

13. Move the selector to situation N, working under the car release a lock-nut, slightly give a cable (2) towards a forward part of transmission and tighten a nut (1).

14. Move the selector to situation P and adjust the provision of a cable so that the red tag (the termination of a cable) was in the specified situation, tighten a nut (1, 3 – a cable, 2 – a clamp emphasis, 4 – a nut, 5 – a clamp cam, 6 – location of the termination of a cable).

15. Dress a spring (the selector is in situation P) and a washer definitely (1 – a cable, 2 – an axis, 3 – a clamp cam, 4 – a washer, 5 – a spring).

16. Slightly give a cam in the direction of an arrow against the stop and tighten a nut.
