1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Lift the car.

3. Merge oil from the transfer case.

4. Designate the provision of flanges of driveshafts, turn off nuts, disconnect a flange and get a shaft from transmission (or the transfer case).

5. Remove a dustproof cover, hook and take an epiploon.

6. Assembly is carried out upside-down.

7. Press a new epiploon a mandrel (MIT3995 and MB990938-01 tools) before combination of the plane of an epiploon with a case of the check point (transfer case).

8. At assembly combine the tags of driveshafts put when dismantling.

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove transmission assembled with the transfer case.

3. Remove a filling branch pipe, turn out traffic jams.

4. Remove a spring of a clamp and a plunger (or a ball).

5. Remove the sprung pin from the ram of switching of a box.

6. Turn off nuts / bolts and remove the transfer case.

7. Pay attention to the provision of 2 wire clamps of bolts of fastening of the transfer case.

8. At separation of cases remove the lever of the transfer case.

9. Installation is carried out upside-down.

10. Replace laying and establish on sealant 3M ART N 8001 or N 8011, having greased both parties. Grease a secondary shaft of transmission that will facilitate its installation in the transfer case.

11. Delay all connections according to the required moments.

12. Press the sprung pin (2) in the ram (1) of the transfer case by means of MD998245-01 adaptation (it is allowed to small beards). 

13. The pin groove at a press fitting has to be turned definitely (sustain the size of 3-3,5 mm) (1 – an axis of symmetry of a shaft of management of the transfer case).
