Lever of adjustment of height of a head restraint:

At the left – type 1;

On the right – type 2

Soft head restraints from above of seatbacks can reduce risk of injury of a neck in case of blow behind.

Head restraints can be rejected on two provisions forward. If to try to incline them further, they will return to initial situation. Head restraints cannot be lifted or lowered.

For reduction of risk of getting injured in case of collision adjust height of head restraints so that the center of a head restraint was at the level of eyes.

To lift a head restraint, pull it up. To lower a head restraint, press on it, having taken away the handle of adjustment of provision of a head restraint in the direction specified by an arrow. After adjustment of height of a head restraint press on a head restraint to be convinced that it is reliably recorded.

Adjustment handle:

At the left – type 1;

On the right – type 2

For removal of head restraints press on the handle in the direction specified by an arrow and pull a head restraint up.

For installation of head restraints check in the beginning that their forward party looked forward, then establish them on a seatback, having pressed on the adjustment handle, and lower them up to the end down that the fixing latches worked. Check that position of the adjusting handle was such, as shown in the drawing, and try to lift head restraints up to check whether reliably they are fixed.

Prevention Driving without head restraints is dangerous. Always drive the car with the established head restraints. If head restraints are not established, the probability of getting injured in case of accident increases. Head restraints for forward and back seats differ in a form. At installation of head restraints do not mix head restraints of front and back seats. Head restraints of front seats are higher and thicker.
