For check of a condition of a belt turn the engine a starter, looking through a belt on all to length. At detection of any defects or signs of wear replace a belt.

For check of a tension of a belt press a belt in the middle between pulleys and check belt deflection depth. Measure the belt deflection size which has to be 6–10 mm at effort of 9 kgfs.

1. If it is necessary to adjust a tension of a belt of the generator or pump of the hydraulic booster, then release a unit axis bolt.

2. Then a bolt of fastening of the unit in an arm cut.

3. Move the unit, having pulled (or having released) a belt and tighten bolts upside-down.

4. On late models the tension of a belt is regulated by movement of a roller of a natyazhitel by rotation of a nut of the directing hairpin at the released roller axis lock-nut.

For removal of a belt perform the same operations, as at adjustment, only take away a pulley (or the unit) so that a belt it was possible to remove and dress new. It is forbidden to put on a belt, making excessive effort. Previously be convinced that the belt completely corresponds to removed.

Check integrity of a belt, lack of traces of oil and liquid. The belt changes through each 96000 km. You watch an order of removal in subsection 3.4.29, subsection 3.4.29.2, subsection 3.4.29.3.
