5. If it is necessary, replace the coil.

1. High-voltage conclusion

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check resistance of primary winding between conclusions + and - which has to be 0,72–0,88 Ohms.
2. Otherwise replace the coil.
3. Check resistance of a secondary winding between a high-voltage conclusion and a conclusion + which has to be 10,3–13,9 kOhm.
4. Otherwise replace the coil.
5. Check existence of cracks and defects on the insulator of the coil.

ENGINE OF 3,0 L (24-VALVATE)

Coils of ignition and check of resistance of primary windings on the 24-valvate engine of 3,0 l

Check of resistance of secondary windings on the 24-valvate engine of 3,0 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check resistance of primary winding between a conclusion of 1 socket and conclusions of each of coils. Resistance has to be within 0,6–0,81 Ohms.
2. Check resistance of a secondary winding between a high-voltage conclusion and conclusions of coils A, B and C which has to be 11,3–15,3 kOhm.
3. Check existence of cracks and defects on the insulator of the coil.

Check of resistance of primary winding of the coil of ignition on the engine of 3,5 l

Check of resistance of a secondary winding on the engine of 3,5 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check resistance of primary winding between conclusions of the coil of each cylinder (1st and 4th, 2nd and 5th, 3rd and 6th). Resistance has to be within 0,69–0,85 Ohms.
2. Check resistance of a secondary winding between high-voltage conclusions of the coil of each cylinder (1st and 4th, 2nd and 5th, 3rd and 6th). Resistance has to be within 15,3–20,7 kOhm.
3. Check existence of cracks and defects on the insulator of the coil.
