Removal and installation
CARS OF 1983-89.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Transfer the check point lever to neutral situation.
2. Remove the lever of the check point and close an opening.
3. Disconnect the battery from weight and lift the car.
4. Designate the provision of flanges of driveshafts and disconnect shaft from the check point.
5. Designate and disconnect all cables and wires from a check point case, disconnect wires from a starter.
6. Slightly you will hang out the engine, having propped up it a jack in the pallet through a wooden block.
7. Remove the transfer case.
8. Remove a starter.
9. Prop up the check point the cart with a jack.
10. Turn off at first coupling case bolts, then bolts and nuts of fastening of a cross-piece, remove a cross-piece and details of fastening of a cross-piece.
11. Lower a jack of the engine a little and disconnect the check point from the engine, having displaced the cart so that the main shaft of the check point left coupling.
12. Installation is carried out upside-down.
13. Delay connections with the next moments: coupling case bolts – 49 N. of m, starter nuts – 27 N. of m, bolts of the transfer case – 12 N. of m.

CARS OF 1990-98.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Transfer the check point lever to neutral situation.
2. Remove the lever of the check point and close an opening.
3. Disconnect the battery from weight and lift the car.
4. Remove a guard of the transfer case.
5. Remove a forward exhaust pipe.
6. Merge oil from the check point.
7. Designate the provision of flanges of driveshafts and disconnect shaft from the check point.
8. Remove a cover from a check point shaft.
9. Designate and disconnect all cables and wires from a check point case.
10. Remove a guard of the main cylinder of coupling, remove the cylinder, take aside and fix.
11. Remove a starter.
12. Slightly you will hang out the engine, having propped up it a jack in the pallet through a wooden block.
13. Prop up the check point the cart with a jack.
14. Disconnect side arms from a check point case.
15. Remove the lower cover of a case of coupling.
16. Remove an arm of the transfer case.
17. Turn off at first bolts of fastening of the check point to a cross-piece, raise the check point on 6 mm and remove a cross-piece.
18. Remove the check point with the transfer case.
19. For this purpose turn off bolts and give the check point towards a back part of the car a little, having displaced the cart.
20. Lower and remove the check point, having slightly inclined a forward part and having given forward so that not to touch a back extreme cross-piece.
21. Installation is carried out upside-down.
22. At installation of the check point on the engine you sovestit openings with the directing pins, having slightly inclined the engine.
23. Delay connections according to the required moments.
