On cars of 1983-89 the switch of screenwash is combined with the switch of headlights, on cars of 1990-93 the switch of screenwash enters a combination of switches on a steering column, since 1994 the switch of a screen wiper is mounted on a steering column separately.

On cars till 1994 the switch of a cleaner and washer of back glass is executed in the form of an on-off key and mounted on the forward panel of salon.

After 1994 switches of screen wipers are mounted on a steering column.

1. Hook and get the switch from the forward panel.

2. Check existence of a chain between the following conclusions of the switch: 7–2 at position of the switch of a cleaner of ON, 5-2 at position of the switch of a cleaner of OFF, 5-2 and 3-8 at position of the switch of a cleaner of INT, 7-6 at position of the switch of a washer of ON.

3. If there is no chain at least between 1 couple of these conclusions, then replace the switch.

1. Remove casings of a steering column.

2. Release screws and remove the switch.

3. Check existence of a chain between the following conclusions of the switch for a windshield: 7–8 at position of the OFF, 8-10 switch at position of the LO, 9-10 switch at position of the HI, 6-10 switch at position of the switch of a washer of ON.

4. Check existence of a chain between the following conclusions of the switch for back glass: 2–7 at position of the ON, 4-7 switch at position of the OFF, 1-6 switch at position of the INT, 2-3 switch at position of the switch of a washer of ON, 5-8 at lighting inclusion.

5. If the chain between conclusions does not correspond to the specified scheme, then replace the switch.

6. Disconnect the battery from weight.

7. Disconnect the socket and install the new switch upside-down.
