Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute a decompression and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge liquid.
3. Remove a throttle branch pipe (see subsection 8.2.3).
4. Disconnect sockets from nozzles.
5. Disconnect fuel pipes from the fuel distributor.
6. Remove pressure regulator.
7. Remove the fuel distributor, get nozzles, insulators, a sealant and rings. Do not allow hit on nozzles of dust and dirt.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace all laying and a sealant of nozzles and other removed units.
2. Establish nozzles by turn to the right-to the left.
3. Tighten bolts and nuts with the moments specified illustrations.
ENGINES 3,0 AND 3,5 L
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute a decompression and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge liquid.
3. Remove an inlet collector.
4. Disconnect fuel pipes from the fuel distributor.
5. Remove pressure regulator.
6. Disconnect sockets from nozzles.
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of an inlet pipe (the fuel distributor uniform on 2 heads).
8. Remove the fuel distributor from a forsunama.
9. Get nozzles. On the engine of 3,5 l of a nozzle fasten brackets (1 – a bracket; 2 – nozzle).
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace all insulators and a sealant of nozzles, laying from other removed units, being guided by an illustration.
2. Tighten bolts and nuts.
Check of nozzles
Nozzles are checked by listening of clicks through a stethoscope or the long screw-driver, measurement of electric resistance of a winding which has to be 13–16 Ohms at 20 °C, and also on a torch at the stand (it is carried out in car service).
Prevention
It is forbidden to check nozzles 12 V-tension from the battery, otherwise they will fail.
